Kim Rhode is an American double trap and skeet shooter. She is a six-time Olympic medal winner, including three gold medals, and six-time national champion in double trap. She is the first Summer Olympian to win an individual medal at six consecutive summer games! Kim will be sponsored by Otis Technology to share her pro tips in the shotgun bay at The Women’s Outdoor Media Association’s 2nd Annual She Never Quit Summit. This event will be held at the Lazy J Ranch in Marquez, TX, hosted by Melanie Luttrell, November 1-4, 2016.
This event benefits Navy SEAL family charities selected by Melanie, wife of Marcus Luttrell, famed Navy SEAL Lone Survivor. A silent auction with over a dozen firearms will be made available to the participants through the event with the proceeds going to the family charities. This event promises to be a once in a lifetime opportunity for women to shoot rifles, shotguns and handguns with renowned pro shooters/trainers including Maggie Reese, Athena Lee, Lanny Barnes, Kay Miculek, Lena Miculek, and Dianna Muller. The addition of Olympian Kim Rhode adds unique perspective to this kaleidoscope of talent.
Women in attendance at She Never Quit will benefit from these trainers who together have extensive Olympic competition, over two dozen world shooting sports championships, dozens of national shooting sports titles and hundreds of state titles. These hand-on trainers will coach, encourage, and tweak so the attendee experiences improved results, style, and confidence in handling a variety of firearms. There is also a Texas “License to Carry” class added for those attendees who want to take concealed carry training on November 1st at the start of the event.
